Dont need all the extras, admittance to closed forums would be nice. I have a T1 connection here so keeping internet costs under control is important
regardless a pretty good site and ill contribute something.

I'm pretty new here too. One thing I like about the way they do it here is it's just a one time cost - most other sites I visit want an ongoing fee for extra access.

You know if it wasnt for that moron ashida kim I would have never found this site. This connection is costing me 300 bucks a month because there is no competition in the area the closest thing is Verizon and the rates are platformed (whatever the hell that means couldnt understand their sales agent the guy was 'bullshido') I switched and my first months bill was $504.00 instead of Comcraps $300.00 just goes to show you that Bullshido happens everywhere.

I've heard that some people pop for the 20 every few months since it is such a great deal... others, maybe not.
Just depends I guess.

Jay if you don't mind me inquiring, what do you need a T1 at home for? I mean is it business related?

$20 is not expensive, even for a grad student.
Half-priced membership will get you access to change you profile status, and your name color-coded in PINK!
"For everything else, there's MasterCard! "
If you can afford that T-!, you can cough up $20-

I wouldn't mind seeing a line of women outside my door every weekend.
As it stands, I'm posting here on a Saturday night, and you still gotta pay full price =P

Is $20 really that much?It is if you're not an american. My supporting membership was about $35 AU. I can understand why some people would balk at that.
