MMA Pretenderism: A Definitive Study

Aesopian and I have been working on a highly sophisticated academic paper for the last month. What started as a simple rant outsourcing quickly spiralled out of control, fueled by the recent happenings on Bullshido and a few Sherdog threads.

Seems like Aesopian and Shuma understand now what I was bitching about in the MMA glove thread.

How about adding the sources of the quotes following PizDoff's regarding the "shin surf?" And for the sake of clarity, why don't you mention PizDoff in the paper when you're quoting him? I say this merely because you don't hesitate to name Elmore, Blade, and the like, but why not Piz? Sure, we have the link in the footnote, but for the sake of consistency. It seems sneaky otherwise.

I'm a computer science student and Aeso is a web design guy. It's been a couple years since I wrote something this high-brow. Keep in mind this paper grew out of us exchanging links to threads and expletives over MSN.

We didn't name the Sherdoggers either, but we also did not "name" Phil or Perkins to give ourselves a bit of legal breathing room. Piz's shin surf post was the only one we gave a reference to.

I have other ways to get my point across in this case.
