No not the game you could finish with the patented elbow move.

anybody here have an opinion of(or hear of) the Double Dragon Kickboxing/Muay Thai school. the JJJ place i'm at right now isn't working out like i'd hoped, i still would like a ground game, but for now i think i'm going to try MT. its always interested me b/c the techniques seem very direct...no extra fluff added. anyways, that brings be back to...

have you guys heard of the Double Dragon Kickboxing/MT school?

Well actually, if you had put something like 'ATTN: Toronto area people' results may come faster.

Drill him on his teaching methods, prices, etc.

I know theres a good martial art faq at about.com that you could look to for questions to ask him.

well, problem is, i've never trained Muay Thai and don't know anyone else who's trained Muay Thai. so for me to go in and watch a class doesn't tell me anything about how good the school is.

i guess a better question is, what would people here use as criteria to say a MT place IS good?

from talking to the guy this is what i got...

-1&1/2months for 194.99, and that includes leather bag gloves, hand wraps, shin & instep guards.
-you start off just kickboxing for the 6wks to work on basic punching/kicking and combos. if you like it, then you go into the elbows, knees, etc.
-the place looks alright, has a full-on ring, weights, etc.

can you guys think of anything in particular i should ask him?

just tell me to shut it if i'm wasting everyone's time...in a nice way of course.
