Yo, sup all.
Here's the deal. I train at a Kung Fu school that has a bunch of kids running around and doing a "wax on" "wax off" block. Beats the hell outta me what a wax off block is doing in Kung Fu, I always thought that the movie was named "the karate kid". But anyway, they charge almost $100 bucks for the uniform and although they don't push you buy their kung fu shoes, when I showed up in different (much cheaper) shoes the sifu told me they were not for kung fu.
Also, my instructors are kinda weak. There's this one woman, I really don't know what the hell she's doing there teaching, she can't stand up to execute a kick without falling almost falling over. There's an absence of power and flexibility in many of the female instructors. The male instructors are much better (taht's not saying much however), but I feel like they should be training a lot harder than they do ... there is much to be desired.
The fee is kinda steep, well maybe not really, it's about $80 bucks per month for 5 - 6 days per week at 1 hr per class.
I think the art itself is great and I'm definitely improving a whole lot. But do you think I'd be served by a school where the instructors were more proficient and they didn't have all these damn kids running around?
