Yo, sup all.
Here's the deal. I train at a Kung Fu school that has a bunch of kids running around and doing a "wax on" "wax off" block. Beats the hell outta me what a wax off block is doing in Kung Fu, I always thought that the movie was named "the karate kid". But anyway, they charge almost $100 bucks for the uniform and although they don't push you buy their kung fu shoes, when I showed up in different (much cheaper) shoes the sifu told me they were not for kung fu.
Also, my instructors are kinda weak. There's this one woman, I really don't know what the hell she's doing there teaching, she can't stand up to execute a kick without falling almost falling over. There's an absence of power and flexibility in many of the female instructors. The male instructors are much better (taht's not saying much however), but I feel like they should be training a lot harder than they do ... there is much to be desired.
The fee is kinda steep, well maybe not really, it's about $80 bucks per month for 5 - 6 days per week at 1 hr per class.
I think the art itself is great and I'm definitely improving a whole lot. But do you think I'd be served by a school where the instructors were more proficient and they didn't have all these damn kids running around?

Yes.

Excuse me, to elaborate:

The school sucks and the only thing you have to look forward to is being a crappy unpaid instructor teaching little kids how to get killed in one easy lesson. Stop now, for fear of your immortal soul.

Where do you live? We'll help you find a real school, even a good kung-fu school if that's what you want.

Where do you people train that all the women are always so horrible? The girls that I train with can kick ass.

I train a Kung Fu school in Connecticut USA. Any other schools in that area. Or how about BJJ school. Or even an MMA gym?

That about sums it up. If you feel like you're not getting what you want, then you need to somewhere else.

No matter how good or bad a school is, bottom line is YOU. What are you looking for, what do you want?

Time to move on.

As soon as I started doubting my last school, it was only a matter of time before I left.

If you stay the entire time you'll be questioning your training and wondering if there is something better (there is) out there.

Good luck.

I doubt its good. Any good school knows that a 1 hour session is never long enough. Plus instructors who cannot execute a move well is also a warning sign.

And, as has been stated before, if YOU think its crap, then it is.

Come on down to the PSDTC in Waterbury.

Gina is definitely NOT a stereotypical female instructor.

What exactly is a stereotypical female instructor? Large boobs and a tight bootie with cleavage sticking out of her gi top, or a trucker with a fem-mullet and a "roommate" named Pat?

First of all, what style of kung fu is it? If they just call themselves kung fu, it's probably mcdojo karate disguised as kung fu.

Is this School too Bad for me?
