Quick BJJ question

The guys in Cornell's BJJ club found out about me via Facebook and kindly extended an invitation to train with them. Does anyone know the rep this club has?

Also, does anyone know of any BJJ joints in the Ithaca area besides the club?


I just want to fully assess my training options when school begins.

I just clicked this from the front page, all like, "Oh, maybe I can help someone with some question about his BJJ training!" Then disappointment kicked me in the face as it turns out you're just asking if anyone knows about a club. Gave me a cryin' fit.

From what I understand. the club is populated by white belts, except for 1 blue belt. Most of these guys got experience from different places (i.e. Lloyrd Irvin, Rickson, etc). Which sounds good, it means the place must have a nice ecclectic flavor to it, as BJJ goes.

The blue belt is the fellow who leads the club. I'm told that he's never been tapped in the club (a surprisingly bold claim). I'm hoping this means that, as blue belts go, he's closer to a purple than he is to a white.
