Biggest Badasses...

... that you know. I'm spinning off from the Kimbo Slice thread. A lot of people mentioned that he is uber badass and too big to beat etc.

Some of us don't agree. Kimbo may be too big for me to beat but I definately know people that would lay him out. The only rule is you have to have actually met this person and preferably trained with them in some way. I can think of two right off the bat, my coach probably take this guy and I think Shonie Carter could too. I've rolled with both of them.

On a more serious note, I would say my BJJ insctructor and my Judo instructor would have a good shot at it. Both over 200 lbs, BJJ instructor is in incredible shape. And a couple guys I have trained with (a wrestler who does NHB under Adrian Serano and a cop who has boxed and done Muay Thai for ages).

I think there are lots of people who could take the guy. There are ALWAYS lots of people who can take anyone.

It's just that a certain poster of our WASN'T one of them, and probably never could be.

Any number of guys from my gym would have a good shot, particularly Romie Aram. There are a couple fellows bigger than Kimbo, but I don't think any of them are proffesionals, or on that level of skill. Some of the smaller fighters like John Allessio or Javier Vasquez would have a chance, but they would be at a HUGE size disadvantage, so things would be tricky.

Actually, Javi just had the opening party for his new school, Showtime Jiu-Jitsu. Ken Shamrock and Vitor Belfort were both there, so if I had been able to go instead of being stuck in Michigan, I guess I would have added them to the list. Those would be my top two.

Kubota, I have seen the man in action, he would take Kimbo out.

Rorion Gracie or Rickson Gracie ( I am sure other gracies, but I have only seen these two).

Even though we're not supposed to be talking about people we don't know...but I bet Jen Pulvers or the Thai guy who won K1 max would hand Kimbo a slice of ass whoopin. Why? Because they are extremely hard hitters for their size, fast and versatile.
