Does anyone know what a group leader is in the dbma? What does it mean when you have the title?

Denny is the leader, most of the pack are split up. A title means you know what you're doing and you're part of the "pack".

Yes but they have a head instructor (= denny), instructors, trainers and group leaders, now what seperates a group leader from the other titles?

It's not supposed to be like that. It's not even really supposed to have leaders per se.

From what I understand, it's not so much of a hierarchy, as much as a, he actually knows his stuff deal. The dog brothers with nicknames, salty dog, top dog and stuff are the guys who really know there stuff, are active in dog brothers gatherings, and generally train and fight well. The guys who are just "dogs" I think are mostly the same, but have not been going at it as long. Eventually they too get nicknames. I'm not sure about the rest. I know some of the guys who are just "dogs" are inactive DBMAists.

I think the group leader tag comes from the PT Pitbulls organization.
You get a bunch of people together who are interested in starting a PT group and they decide on the group leader. The leader is sort of an instructor-in-training who does seminars/privates/intensives with GM Tim Waid and/or SGT Gaje until they get their instructorship. When they become a certified instructor the Group Leader thing goes by the wayside.

Dog Brothers are probably doing the same sort of thing.
