Gavin Espinosa's Black belt academy
http://www.teambba.com
These guys are attached to the gym I go to. I've walked by and seen them doing "grappling" aka starting from knees and then screwing around (one guy couldn't figure out how to do a RNC on another one, and I saw a pair of kids (15 or so) trying to get a keylock, but using the wrong arms (basically was doing it wrong)
I've also seen little kids wearing black belts.
What does everyone else think?

Be wary, brandeissansoo. They may play dirty, and kick to the leg. If so, I recommend the White Crane. If done right, no can defend.

I jsut finished looking threw the site
and its very easy to become a black belt
The Swat team stuff is hilarious
Its all bull ....
muhahaha
But who am I to judge ... ?

Oh man, I roofled. The movie poster in the media section was too funny. It made me cringe looking at those splits though. I can do the splits, and the way she is doing them she is going to RUIN her joints so badly. You have to tilt your feet so the toes point up. If you do it the way she is she is going to screw up her ankle, knee, and hip.

Goto the video section
Goto "sparring cornick"
he does what I like to call "the flopping kick that has virtually no power, and simply abuses the point-sparring system because it has ABSOLUTELY no fight application, other then seeing who can keep their leg up better
God I hate people like that

"In addition to our regular programs, we also offer specialized programs such as Black Belt Club, Master Club, Protech Training, and Instructor Training. As our students progress in rank and aptitude, they become eligible for one or more of these programs which allows for broader and more advanced training including weapons, musical forms, and assistant-instructing in classes."
All right - musical forms!!!
YOU GOT SERVED!!

The hits just keep on coming - check out his featured links.
Black belt requirements include among other things:
- Free sparring (whaddaya know...)
- A set of 2-3 basic techniques
- Specialty (musical form, choreographed fight scene...)
This place has quality written all over it =)
Their SWAT is in fact short for "Special Winning Attitude Team". With some hard work you can earn yourself a SWAT patch or even a special DELTA warm-up uniform. Whee! All of this comes with some serious responsibilities though. Example SWAT team duties include "Greet customers at the door" and "Maintain cleanliness of the school".
