I apologize for IGBJJ they don't make BITCHES the way they used to.
He is obviously overwhelmed. Go easy on him. Intellectual banter is useless since it tends to go over his head.

IGBJJ,
Out of curiosity:
A reasonable interpretation of your quote would mean that TKD people don't "have their fudge packed" deep, since Springer's “Final Thought” is hardly deep or insightful.
You practice TKD don't you?!
Well on a positive note you used "their" correctly, which is more than can be said for half of the posts here.

I did give him credit for proper use of "their".
You get a demerit for improper use of "used".

IMHO, I just step back to initial question so excuse me for being impolite interrupting your talk about “being politically correct” or so…
Speed and power of kicking depends on your abilities, training and the way you kick. Nothing else. Style means nothing here.
Savate, as well as another “French style” Shosson (wrong spelling, sorry), was delivered to France by sailors from Siam Kingdom. Which is called Thailand now. Techniques have changed, as sailors hadn’t a lot of time to practice mauy-thai. Still, origin is the same. So what the difference, by the way?
Bruce Lee used Korean techniques in his JKD. Tang soo do and TKD, that he learned from Chuck Norris and Jun Rhee (or both are liars). What to TKD itself, General Choi had 2nd dan in Shotokan Karate, leader of Japanese karate at that time. That’s why are these similarities… As JKD referred more to principle than a style, muay-thai was incorporated into the system as more appropriate and forcible.
Of course, all styles change. Sometimes it is quite obvious, sometimes it changes slightly. Low kicks in kyokushinkai are more of muay-thai than original karate. Because Oyama sent a team to fight in Thailand’s rings. And high kicks came from… TKD! But not because he was Korean but he had negotiations with TKD heads on merging his style with TKD on 1960s. But everyone wants to be a “founder”. Still, some techniques are adapted. As similarities between Kyokushinkai and TKD WTF in sport competitions.

Sei I,
I just started to make fun of the guy because he wouldn't address comments to explain differences in the force generated by two different techniques (not styles). If you read more of his posts you'll see why he might get made fun of at all.
I made a post fairly similar, but without all the supporting evidence and agree. All styles, to one degree, or another look to keep what is relevant and discard what isn’t, as you see this leads to some homogenization.

Bruce Lee used Korean techniques in his JKD
I'm sorry, I have NEVER been taught a TKD kick in JKD. I had five years of TKD, so I'm not talking from ignorance. We occasionally do side-kicks during a "if someone with martial arts training attacks you, they'll probably do this -- here's how to break their leg" drill. Every high kick, nearly every kick, I have done in the last two years has been from savate. Norris and Lee trained together as equals, I'm sure Lee learned something from him (I have a lot of respect for Norris) but Norris did not "train" him. I think Jun Rhee is lying, actually, but I have no really strong feelings about it. I'm willing to be persuaded.

Wait a minute, are you actually saying someone would lie about working with or training Bruce Lee.
Personally I don't see that happening, can't see it confering any commercial or reputational benefits.

What about ego benefits, its a great "fishing tale" that you can bring up at all kinds of social events and get the "your the man" reaction
