I know for a fact there are at least 5-6 of us in the area. Anyone interested in getting something planned? I am out of the game due to a back issue but there is no reason why a Throwdown can't happen.

Who is down or at least interested?

I used to be in Cbus....in the Toledo area now. Getting ready for a pump to Afghanistan pretty soon so can only participate if this goes down relatively soon.

lol, that sucks. I'm shocked you can't get a better response in Cbus. Dudes used to like to scrap there. Mark Coleman still has a school there, I think. And a Gracie....or at least an affiliate. Probably some good guys in Dayton that will throw down.

If only I had the time and resources to scout the area in person. I have already met some pretty decent peoples in the scene here in dayton but being unable to play at this moment really puts a snag in the whole networking angle.

Heya. I'm in the area - don't have a gym that could be easily rented out or used, though. If it were in a few months, I might be able to clear something with one of the gyms in the area (which are now cropping up like flies) but the BJJ scene in Columbus is in chaos right now

I am injured right now so I am not really down for throwing down myself at this point.

I am just trying to get us all connected.

If a throwdown gets thrown together I would try to make it as a social thing and/or help plan it, but right now I am just trying to get an idea of the locals and their quantities.

People leaving gyms to found their own, gyms changing associations, gyms changing locations, new gyms appearing... it's insane right now. PM me if you want details. The worst part is that I'm on friendly terms with most of them and apparently everyone is trying to draw up "sides".

I didn't know that there was a WC Museum there, but I had a girlfriend whose parents lived in Kettering and we kept driving past Stephen Hayes' Ninja Center when we visited! haha... the laughter. The tabi-clad fatties. The laughter.
