One of the best books I've seen so far is Best Judo by Isao Inokuma , Nobuyoki Sato. I'm a freshly graded yellowbelt though, so my experience ain't much to holler about.

As far as film goes, try to get hold of Mike Swain's instructional videos - excellent attention to detail, multiple angles filmed, mint production. Covers a LOT of techniques.

    Regards,
    Lars

Edit: Oh, and a quick stab at the search function brought up this thread My Judo Book Thread - No BS MMA and Martial Arts and a bunch of others...

If you only ever buy one Judo book buy Kodokan Judo throwing techniques by Toshiro Daigo 10th dan.

    Other good ones include:
    Best Judo, Inokuma and Sato
The Fighting Spirit of Judo, Yamashita
Any of the Ippon books Masterclass series
    Mind over Muscle, Kano

I just got this one, I like it alot. It not only shows the throw, but shows proper foot position.

Judo Unleashed is kind of the adopted "second manual" in our dojo. Most the guys in the dojo have it now and there's usually a copy or two sitting just off of the mats.
