There's going to be an inter-school BJJ tournament (no gi) in about a month. What do you guys usually do at your schools to prepare?

Errrr... train hard?
Crank up the agression level a little when rolling, do long sessions of rolling switching partners with little breaks inbetween to increase cardio... nothing too surprising really.
There are no wrong threats, only wrong answers. (Strategy game truism)

ive never done Bjj but if your tourney is a month out you should have already done your heavy sparring or in your case hard rolling

Crank up the cardio man. Endurance is like 60% of that game. Really good guys get spanked all the time because they gas. You already have technique so work on being able to apply that technique at a faster pace then the other guy and for a longer period of time.

In addition to the above, I would suggest getting copious amounts of sleep to prevent burnout.

If you know the name of your opponents, run up really large mountains then scream out their name when you reach the top.

rest up about 3 days before, let your sparring training wounds heal, even though I hate your guts, I can appreciate your concern. Good luck.
