Hi Dave
Always up for a pint if ever you are out my way ?
You could have a full time job with all the plastic samurai out there.
Sorry to go off topic.
I just had a moron on YouTube asking why I never mention his teacher when speaking of the pioneers - I said the reason I never mention him, is, I have never heard of him ! ..He then starts to get nasty and says the guy was a student of H Foster - the pratt just answered his own question.
There is just too many out there.

Hi,
I have actually met Jon Alexander and practiced some of his katas. It was in Cheltenham, England. I was taking my 2nd Dan at the time and he was a guest. We did 4 sword katas. Obviously we were all impressed. I 'was' looking him up on the internet in order to do these courses you are on about. I think you may have all saved me the trouble. BUT, I am looking for weapons courses in my area if anyone should know of any. I have retired from teaching, but practice when I can and want to take something else up (in a non competitive aspect)
Any ideas dudes!

You can't legitimately learn the traditions and skills associated with the Japanese sword on "courses"
If you're specifically interested in sword related traditions you should start Google and research British Kendo Association."To sin by silence when one should protest makes cowards out of men".
