Drank six light beers and one dark beer yesterday evening, and half a portion of nachos. (Out with them friends.)
Trained, though.
Weighin' in this morning at 71 kg, before breakfast.
How can I get muscle AND loose weight at the same time?
I have no idea, honestly, because this was a question I never had to ask myself. (Before I started lifting seriously in 2007, I weighed an average of 63 kg/139 lbs.)
Will I have to quit beer for good if I want to stay in shape-shape? -

Thanks, man.
My primary goal is to lose excess body fat as a side efffect of working on my cardio, but I really can't diet properly right now.
(Living at my parents' house for a few months. Is rawking cool; dishes clean themselves, dirty laundry washes and irons itself, there is always something in the fridge... And so on. Not the best time to diet, but certainly the best time to replay all those games on your old Super Nintendo.) -

IT goes against common knowledge, but when I did a modified Atkins type low carb it was combined with lifting (to burn - and for me, a hard regime alternating upper, lower, gut on a schedule) and I got much stronger. Perhaps the stress of lifting countered the diet's "eat tissue, fat and muscle" effect?
