psyching up at short notice

Hey guys, i have a contest tommorow and i need to get psyched up, because at the moment i just cant be bothered. Which is appalling because im the one who is organising transport etc.
I have had a lot of uni work on recently, along with the stress of impending graduation and the real world. Add girlfriend trouble and you have major contest apathy. Another problem is that most of my team are injured so there are only a few of us going, none of our best fighters.

Normally before a contest i am totally up for it, so this is very out of character

anyone else ever had this problem?

if i cant get focussed then i will be tempted not to fight at all, as i will surely lose.

any advice?

Sorry to hear of your troubles. What kind of contest is it?

As for advice: Watch your favorite UFC or Pride beatdowns. Download the MMA highlights clip from this site's download section. Listen to some aggressive music - Children of Bodom usually puts me in the mood to beat someone up.

try a battle scene from braveheart

or some beatdown music like slipknot or chimara

or think of your opponant anally raping your mom that could do the trick

it is just a judo comp, so it isn't even violent

it will be a weight categoried round robin in the morning, then a team event in the afternoon, then a ceileidgh at night

freddie foxx is now on the stereo, full blast and i will watch some cro cop highlights soon-- dont have braveheart (despite being scottish)
