That video is a good example of how their marketing kicks them in the ass.

Don't get me wrong some of their more... extravagant applications pf the style are ridiculous, but it's a tiny minority of what you learn.

Multiple opponents, remember? Break his foot and he'll be forced to hop to reach you while you're fighting the next guy... :new_all_c

You know that is the same problem CMA has right? The extravagant applications shouldn't be taught at all.

No no no. He broke his leg didn't you see?

It was all going reasonable well until after he had pushed the attacker into the wall he decided to break out a bit of man on man back rub action.

Headbutt to the spine at 0:12 and 0:53.

I'm going to use that in BJJ tonight.

Suckers won't know what hit them.

    It was my head.

    To their spine.

    Damn right I did

At the end of the day, I think the core principles and techniques are solid, so I ignore some of the flowery **** (which tbh I haven't come across in training yet) and a whole heap of just plain surreal promotional material and get on with it.

Listen man, you asked in the newbietown thread, I told you my parameters for a necro and agreed with two others that a new thread in YMAS might be OK. The site owner came along and overruled that suggestion, so for my part I pull a mea culpa.
