    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Teddy was shot in the chest by a would-be assassin and still insisted on delivering his planned speech. At 54 years old, he was the first non-Amazonian to navigate the River of Doubt, almost dying of fever in the pursuit. By comparison, Putin is a series of cardboard photo-ops intended to satisfy the national delusion that they need a strong man in charge.

If the Dog Brother portion was first, I would give it to Teddy. Big stick FTW.

He does have some heroic pics for a world leader, though:

    ^^^^^

    This!

Alas, if this were not the case, then Putin would have the edge.

Add gun-fu into the equation and we're back with Teddy.

Man was one of the all time great US presidents. Bigger than life he was.

    FDR on the other hand........

I dunno about that. Teddy was in an actual war, yes, and that's a huge deal. On the other hand, if we're being time-period-accurate with weapons, Putin's going to have better, more accurate, and more hi-tech weapons.

Why has this matchup not been on "Deadliest Warrior" yet? Maybe Lincoln could face the winner, since he wrestled.

Nope, firearms just muddy the water except as evidence of general badassery. One bout each under (kick)boxing, MMA and Dog Brothers rules to decide the hypothetical contest.
