I'm all for it, as long as the belt colors don't clash with the lipstick and nail polish.

New ad campaign says you can fix your gay son with karate lessons!

I thought you guys would appreciate this.

"The idea that gay people aren't as manly as heterosexual men seems to be something of an antiquated notion (or at least should be). So a Miami ad agency's idea to promote RDCA Karate by using a presumably gay young boy seems, well, not so progressive."

    Hilarious.

Which art is it that actually has a pink belt anyway? One of the TKDs, was it?

    I still wear lipstick.

But it is hard to find heels in my size.

Apparently one of the guys that was teaching me karate won both wet and dry underwear contests in the San Diego gay district not too long ago. If only his father had taught him karate, starting at a young age. Oh wait, he did. The guy's been studying karate since he was 6, he's very good, a generally cool guy, and gay.

It seems to me that martial arts to "un-gay" your son is one of the dumbest ideas ever. Your kid will stick to things that they like, and if it slips that he's there because the dad thinks he's gay, then the son's probably not going to be a fan of karate or his dad anymore after that, whether or not they end up actually being gay.
