The unfortunate thing to me about those knee counter throws is I rarely encounter people that actually throw knees like that...

By "those types of knees" I mean knees where your back is straight and you're in a basically neutral clinching position. Everyone I've fought, except one girl, either only threw knees from the double neck tie or threw knees to the thigh and went for around the waist clinch. I think these takedowns require a bit higher level of clinching (from your opponent) than is common in these here parts.
