if it's gonna happen, i need some ample warning to get either a ride or tickets. i tried getting one together earlier this summer when i was down south, but nothing happened. Sirc, since you'll see omega, can you bug him about his friend's place that he offered up?

I'm down to drive up to Omega's. I can pick up one or two people along the way if it's not too out of the way. Weekends are good for me now that I'm starting a job at regular hours.

Anything other than a Tuesday or Wednesday is good for me, as long as I know the day two weeks in advance so I can request it off from work.

Would love to, though I'm already taking a trip this month and am broke. The 26th is my birthday as well, and I'm celebrating that weekend. II have parties I said I'd attend on the last weekend of August, but if for some reason it isn't, and someone is driving from Norcal that I can carpool with, and someone has a spot where I can crash, I'd love to go. I'm happy to spar with the understanding that I'm a white belt and absolutely not a badass, hah.

So, possible, but unlikely. Next one that's in the bay area though, I'll go!

Any chance this might happen in September instead?

santa barbara isn't close enough to LA to stay with family, what kind of schedule are we looking at? if it's a one day thing and i can get a ride down and back, maybe. otherwise it might just be too difficult to secure travel/lodging.
