    I was wondering if this was a good idea.

    I don't seem to have any good gyms near me.

    Would It be a good idea just to stick with credible bodyweight routines? However if I want to increase intensity I could use a weight vest? (except for pullups sadly) I don't want to burn a whole in my wallet with expensive equipment and I'm limited in space.

    It would probably run me 80 dollars for a 40 pound vest and 30 bucks for a good pull up bar (need one of those replaceable ones.

    I just wanted credible opinions. I'm still a newbie with this stuff so I want to know if its okay.

    Oh and It would be a great idea to invest in a jump rope for rainy days right?

    You dont even need a weight vest. If you use the right resourses and do some research you can continue to increase difficulty by sophisticating bodyweight movements virtually for the rest of your life. There are probably thousands of different calistenics available if you look for them.

    Push ups to easy? Elevate your legs, as that gets easy move your legs higher until your doing handstand push ups. Once that gets easy do them on an elevated platform that will allow your head to go deeper.

    Squats not a problem? Try pistols. Or lunges, or airborn lunges or box jumps.

    Pull Ups no longer a challenge? Try them on rings or do muscle ups.

    Want some endurance training? Jumping rope rocks, then you've got jogging, hill sprints and swimming to name a few.

    And these are still just the basic goodies. You've got all sorts of fun things like the threading bridge, elevated scorpion, side crow, and a thousand other options without dropping a cent for equipment.

    This video shows some fun training ideas its not all equipment free but a lot of what is being done here can be simulate with cheap simple equipment.

    Buy a 15 litre jerrycan of water and a set of riggers gloves.

    A lot of people are recommending kettlebells. Though I can't find em cheap and have no idea how to use them.

    Either way I will b investing in a pullup bar and jump rope.
