Wow. This post was written almost a year ago. I guess this calls for an update.
I'm still boxing, still going to the gym every week -- sometimes more -- still learning all I can about the Sweet Science. Since then, I've also dropped 30lbs. This is not enough for "fighting" shape, but it's still pretty good.
Also, I was ashamed to admit it at the time, but I had actually done more Wing Chun than I let on -- as was implied by my later posts. I knew it was lame, I didn't want to admit I was lame. Then, when I was no longer allowed to go back to my old Wing Chun school, I had to finally swallow just how lame I really was.
The best thing that boxing has given me, though, is great friendships. The people I've met at my gym are incredible human beings, with great hearts, who have a big thirst for life. So, even if I never "officially" step in the ring, it's all been worth it. I've become a fan of boxing for life. -

I think he means here:
http://www.realitymartialarts.ca/
They have a "Self Defense / Russian Hand To Hand Combat" program."All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." - Frith -

As you wish, it's right here:

EDIT: someone responded before I did. They don't advertise it as Sambo because most people in Vancouver don't know what that is. But it's Sambo. -
