    A new birthday tradition

    Yesterday, I turned 24.
I have a bad habit of not doing anything on my birthday, and then feeling bad that I didn't. I decided to change that this year. I asked my Muay Thai coach if we could do a celebratory Bull in The Ring.
It ended up being ten minutes of continuous sparring, with a fresh opponent every minute.
As I've posted about here before, I have a bit of a glass jaw. As it turns out, I have a bit of a glass liver, as well. Both of these traits become exasperated as I grow more fatigued. Towards the end, it felt like every blow was taking me off my feet. I'm always able to pop back up, but it just doesn't take an exceptionally heavy blow to buckle my knees. I take this to mean that I have low hit points. The only solution I can propose is even more sparring and even more getting punched in the brain, to beat every shred of weakness out me.
As it also turns out, I tend to default back to Judo when hard pressed and exhausted, a trait which my opponents grew less and less appreciative of each time. I do, however, take some pride in being to able to execute a hikikomi gaeshi with boxing gloves on.
I want to make this a new tradition for my birthdays; rather than going out and celebrating and relaxing, commemorating the occasion with some sort of trial of fortitude or resolve.
Oh, I also biked (nine miles each way) to and from the gym that night.
So yeah, what did you do for YOUR birthday?
    The fool thinks himself immortal,
    If he hold back from battle;
But old age will grant him no truce,
    Even if spears spare him.

I got superduper drunk and woke up in the hallway of my student-block-thingy covered in blood.

It was later established that this blood was indeed chilli sauce.

    Kebabs are baaaad.

I turned 32 on Saturday. My wife got me a gun and her dad got me a deep fryer. I then tested my liver as well.

And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

when i turned 27 i had dinner in a fancy restaurant somewhere in india.
when i turned 28 i had jaegerbombs and a massive pubfight with people from manchester.
when i turned 29 i didnt do anything.
when i turned 30 i had whiskeys with a hot redhead and banged her brains out.
    that counts as groundwork, right?

    thats all i can remember.
