I hope that he's not using a wallhanger 'sword' (or sword-like object, if you prefer) for that.

Seriously Tim, if you're still reading this thread - those things can shatter without warning and take your eye out, or split you right open if you try to cut something like a tree branch. Or the blade can just fly straight off the end when you swing it.
