Photos from DC Max 2 presented by One World MMA
Last Saturday, July 17, One World Mixed Martial Arts put on the second event in its Legacy Fight Series, DC Max 2 at Fur Nightclub in Washington DC.
Intrepid Bullshido.net admin, reporter and photographer extraordinare Stick was on hand to photograph the mayhem for your viewing pleasure!

The night began with 3 rounds of exhibition kickboxing.
And from there moved onto two Muay Thai Kickboxing matches.
First up, at 125lbs, Antoine Bowe vs. Roberto Ford.
Roberto Ford took the unanimous decision after 3 rounds of action.
The second and final Muay Thai bought of the night was fought between Eliud Arbelo and Joshua Peters- otherwise known here on Bullshido as Shadowdean (and with whom this photographer trains)- at 125lbs.
The unanimous decision victory went to Eliud Arbelo.
The first mixed martial arts fight of the night was contested at 185lbs. between Clarence Williams & Mark Bergenholtz.
One of the quicker bouts of the night, Mark Bergenholtz finished Mr. Williams at 2:19 of the first round by RNC.
Next up at 160lbs, Jonathan Hughes vs. Bryson Morgan.
Bryson Morgan took the win by key lock at 1:02 of the third round.
The third MMA fight of the night pit Patrick Parker against Jamie Claytor at 130lbs.

This was a particularly slick move; Claytor ducked under Parker's round kick, shot in and took him down hard.

From there, Claytor pounded out the referee stoppage at 0:49 of round 2
The second to last fight of the night was a fast, decisive win by Diego Peclat of the Yamasaki Academy over Ryan Groft, an unaffiliated free-fighter.
Peclat took the arm bar at 2:50 of round 1.
The main event of the evening was Andrew Wallis (another person with whom this photographer trains) vs. Arron Cowie at 170lbs.
Wallis won by referee stoppage due to strikes at 1:32 of the 3rd round.
One World Mixed Martial Arts put on a great card that night, and I think it's safe to say we all look forward to the next installment in their Legacy Fight Series: DC Max 3 at Fur Nightclub on September 25th!
