    Batman is a fucking poon.

Wolverine would kill them all. He knows multiple martial arts styles (most likely including Japanese Jujitsu, being that he was trained as a samurai), and he has fucking adamantium claws and skeleton, AND he has a healing factor.

    Don't **** with wolvie.

We're SUPPOSED to talka bout what works better and what does not. Its idiocy to think otherwise. When you shop for a car you don't just close your eyes and point and puck the car you happen to be pointing at. There are factors which contribute to your decision. The only people that would be against comparing one thing to another are people who are afraid of the answers.

Nex time you shop for a computer I want you to take NOTHING into consideration. I don't want you to think about cost, speed, reliability, or anything else. Just pick one. They ALL pretty much work so it doesn;t really matter right? You would never do that. And thats a COMPUTER! We're talking about martial arts which could be used to protect yourself, or someone you care about, from physical violence. Whenin comes to THAT you really have no preference right? All arts are equal and we should blindly follow and never question.....just like the Nazis.

IMO San Shou is better than 99% of all Karate with the esception of MAYBE Kyokushin. San Shou just has more tools to use and they train for a sport that is not as realistic as MMA but way more realistic than most sport Karate.

You know guys I just thought of something (on a more serious note), do you realize this is a question of style vs outlet. By outlet I mean Kickboxing, MMA, San Shou, Point Sparring(snicker)....these are more test of skill events rather than style. In my opinion, although some styles have stemmed from events such as these, it isn't exactly a fair comparison. I stated before that Cung Le beat a karate guy (better details I can find but I'm being lazy) in 2000 K-1 but technically speaking they were both doing San Shou. Ah well food for thought.

michael is exatly right. i was thinking the same thing last night but did not post it. today it is more like rules vs fighter rather than style vs style. for example, take an olympic tkd champion, make him fight tito ortiz in the cage, well i don't have to explain the outcome, but howabout tito fights mr. tkd in olympic tkd, the tkd fighter is most definatly going to win. what iam trying to say is that today, it is what rules you compete in and the techniques you use in these events. back to the tkd dude vs tito, the tkd dude would probaly supplement his training to fight in this event (train in grappling, punching to the head) so even though his style is olymic tkd it might not look like that.
