I really can't add anything that hasn't already been said much more articulately above...so I'll just mention that I agree with every post on this thread after the first one.

So he cuts my lip wide open and I just looked at the mirror and laughed about it. Later, when the guy apologized to me I just laughed back and said "It's all part of the training"

Yeah I understand its being nice but I'm not gonna hate you or anything. I'll have to admit I was like this also when I first injured a guy by accident. Now its a big joke at the school.

I think maybe you should try to be more considerate, humble and accept an apology so you dont end up looking bad

This one time I was drilling knees in Krav maga class and I swear to god the guy kept looking at my balls, so I "accidentally" hit him in the face.

I felt kinda like a dick after so I apologised but the guy said 'no problem, my dad does it to me all the time, at least you didn't **** me after'

wow that totally got interpreted the wrong way. Oh well sorry if I gave the impression I was an asshole. Ofcourse I'm gonna apologize cause I'm not some asshole. I just think people can understand each other so it really makes me feel worse when people are upset and apologizing.

But apparently I can't convey this the right way. Guess this was my mistake I'd rather be yelled at and called a **** then be ignorant. I'll just lurk a little while longer

Well, I sort-of understand. I think people overly apologize sometimes to my s.o. in Judo when they accidentally belt her in the face during drills/randori and it makes her feel like she's a special case. In your case, I think it's because you're 18 and it's probably making you feel like you're still being treated with kid gloves. In the end, it's your own internal issues, not anything your partners are doing, that are getting to you.
