    Japanese Jujutsu in Atlanta

I recently moved to Atlanta and I'm looking for a good place to study Jujutsu, bujutsu, kenjutsu or etc. I have prior experience in Aikido, Judo and Jujutsu. But, I'm more interested in finding legit Japanese Jujutsu if there even is a place to train in the Atlanta area.

    Thanks in advance.

    Link is dead.

I've also found a few different places that teach Yagu Shingan ryu, Kashima Shinryu, Hakko ryu, Shito ryu and Asayama Ichiden ryu in the area. I'm just looking into the legitimacy of these dojo.

Any reason you specifically want Japanese Jiujitsu? Cultural thing or are you into Japanese history or what?

That's just what interests me more. My background is in Japanese martial arts, I used to live in Japan and I enjoy the history/culture.

I'm not looking to learn how to fight or self-defense. I can handle myself well enough as it is. Japanese arts just interest me more for whatever the reasons may be.

You're in Athens? I hear Karl Friday teaches Kashima Shinryu at UGA. I'm just waiting to hear back from him.

It's ju jutsu unless we are talking about BJJ.

    But then you knew that.

Maybe it's my browser? All I'm getting is some weird coding errors.

    Looks like this:

    [/includes/header.htm] [/includes/nav_schools.htm] [/includes/body.htm]
    Japan

You probably won't hear back from him for another week or so, UGA is in the middle of exams right now and everyone is going crazy. I've know some people who took some of his classes and he's apparently a cool guy, but I have no way to actually evaluate his Japanense Ju Jutsu-ness.

Well I hope to find out. He's a certified Shihan and holds a menkyo kaiden in the art, so I assume he knows what he's doing.
