    Hell yeah! Hell no!

would you flog Into somebody who is unconsious

I have just been wondering about this If you were doing a MMA match and you have stand up knocked the other guy out would you jump on top of him and ground and pound untill the ref pulls you off or just let him go?

me personally I like to consider myself a gentleman in the ring and don't think I would do it.

More likely I'd look for a submission, just in case.
But the chances of me actually knocking someone out are so hilariously low that it's a bit of a moot issue.

Thread title sounds really messed up. Flog, then into. somebody unconscious. I hope at least it is a woman.

And yes, if you are unwilling to do that to a woman (or a man!) you do not have what it takes in MMA. Which I don't.

You do need a certain killer instinct to be a good competitor. Its always been a weak point of mine. I have in competitions hesitated for fear of injuring my opponent. Best example would be my first BJJ tournament. It was The Hyastan something or other. I faced off with a big ball of Armenian muscle nicknamed Superman.

He was the type of grappler that can just power thru most people but I had him stumped. He only scored a single point for a holddown on me. Course he was so damned strong I couldn't get the position I needed to lock him.

I had my chance though. I was able to slap catch his right arm with my right and pulled him thru while I stepped around. Before he knew what happened I had his back and right arm and had him in the perfect position for a belly to back suplex but right before I did it I hesitated. I paused for two reasons. 1 I wasn't sure if he knew how to breakfall in such a throw and 2 I wasnt entirely sure if it was a legal move in this tournament.

So he turned on me and we ended up back on the ground and I missed my win. You need a killer instinct to win and if you don't have it than either accept your never going to be a champion or get meaner. :)

So I probably wouldn't ground and pound the guy if it looked like I knocked him out. I'm just to gentle of a soul I suppose.

Did it in a street fight once and ended up serving 2 years in prison for it. Guy happened to be an off duty police officer.

Unlucky. I actually feel your pain. Cops hate my occasional street highjinks as well.

Op: yes. you have to be in that mental state to win.
Unfortunately, outside the cage, society isn't so hot on that whole reptilian-brain attitude.

    This topic offends me.

I ONLY beat up unconscious people. If they're awake, they have a chance of fighting back.

I think you misread. The discussion is about cagefighting, not dating.
