    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Time to necro the only thread worthy of the name.

Long live Ronnie James Dio \m/- -\m/

When Black Sabbath released their new album under the name "Heaven and Hell" I bought their album "The Devil You Know"...a standout track "Bible Black" was an epic enough rising song with a killer riff.

But I had never seen the video for the song until now...an AWESOME piece of animation about an angel who finds a book of forbidden knowledge...and pays the price (or is he paid?)

Great song, great animated short filled with spooky demons and arcane suggestions.

I am a big Black Sabbath fan. And although I much prefer Ozzy's vocals over Ronnie James..I did pick up a cd last year entitled 'The Dio Years'.
For those of you who still buy cd's, that one is worth getting if you are a Sabbath fan.
I actually downloaded some of my cd's onto my home computer the other night and managed to put them on my ipod all by myself.Isn't that great?
For a computer moron like myself its quite a leap forward.
I am proud to say that I can actually perform a task on the computer now that most ten year-olds know how to do. Hooray!
Now I have all my old-school metal (older Sabbath albums, Celtic Frost, older Slayer, Venom, Razor) on my ipod now for workout tunes at the gym, which is the only time I really use my ipod, actually.
    Venom..lol

Been spinning a lot of old Swedish/Norwegian death metal lately:

Regular music sucks. Only death is real.

I think Warrant is the greatest heavy metal band of all time.

****, man, you must be old.

Didn't he die in the 80's? Or was it just glam metal?

Jani Lane is alive....though not necessarily well.

He spent 120 days in prison in 2010 for his third DUI conviction.

Last I had seen him was on VH1 classic, where he basically stated that "Cherry Pie" ruined his career and that he wished he had blown his head off.

With that said, here is a song from an 80's heavy metal band that didn't suck:

I like Maiden, but I think if you have 'Live After Death' you don't really need any of the other albums.
Just my opinion, but a lot of their stuff sounds the same to me.
