Segression- L.I.A and Fifth of the Fifth. I believe they were the first Australian's on the RoadRunner label. They played shows with Fear Factory, Deftones and Soulfly to name a few (Chris Rand did the Fred Durst section of Bleed at the Big Day Out).
I still have a ragged shirt I bought when I was 14 that was signed by all of them at the time. I followed that band all around Sydney when they played, even to over 18 gigs when I was nowhere near 18. There was one time I was about to be kicked out for no ID and Chris was walking through the crowd, saw me and went, "hey man, how you been?" and the bouncer just walked away.

My personal feeling on Rob Zombie is that he is a visionary in many ways but his music has slowly devolved over time...becoming repetitive and kind of derivative of his old sound, and most definitely White Zombie's.
That said, the closer to the pure source, the better.
To that end I give you hot rods, go-go dancers, and desert hallucinations.

And since she deserves her very own post, Sean Yseult of WZ is still the hottest, baddest metal bass player in the history of the artform.
