Dude, stop looking for gimmicks. Whatever it is that you're looking for, you are not going to find it there. That goes for striking, grappling, strength training, and conditioning.
Here's what you should do instead:
-Find a good instructor
-Show up every time, on time
-Shut up and listen
-Do what they tell you as best you can -
