It also means non-snipers (but expert marksmen) can provide precision fire support."To sin by silence when one should protest makes cowards out of men".

Cheers, that's good to know. I had heard some pretty shocking stories about the old SA-80's or whatever they were and that they were due for a replacement, I'm glad they haven't copped out.

The A2 version has about 112 changes done by H&K and this made it a much more robust system, and one I've had compete confidence in however, due to its general design, it doesn't leave the way open for customisation or minor upgrades.
We've now got the A3 version with the front rail system, vertical fore grip/bipod and, - thank **** - a modern optical sight (ACOG) and this has made a big difference however, the weapon has always been fucking heavy compared to even a tricked out M4.
The sharpshooter (linked in my previous post) isn't an IW as it has a specific role but it is obviously capable of doubling as a section rifle. You cannot however currently fit a bayonet to it and this means that potentially, out of a section weapon strength, you can only fit bayonets to 2 weapons."To sin by silence when one should protest makes cowards out of men".
