    Good Judo Clubs in NJ?

    I am a returning judoka on the hunt for good clubs in the central NJ (908/732/609 area code). Can anyone help?

    Thanks for the link, a little too far for me if I wasn't already training three days a week and traveling for that. Saddle Brook is more than an hour from me.

    Even on my side of the pond I consistently hear good things about Yoshisada Yonezuka's dojo in Cranford New Jersey. Yonezuka sensei was also a team mate and friend of the late great Hosaka sensei Kodokan 8th dan.

    I don't know whereabouts in New Jersey Cranford is, but from what I hear that's probably the best school in New Jersey:

    In that case someone should tell him that whoever designed/ runs his website is incorrectly advertising him as a European Judo Champion.

    He might have been a champion (Not current). I have to ask him or my friend who speaks Russian. He knows more about him then I do.

    He is not nor has he ever been European Champion in Judo. Given that you say he has poor English I'm assuming that someone else has made the mistake. Hence why he should be informed about what it says on his website, because I'm sure he wouldn't want to be claiming a title he doesn't hold.
