    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Check out this Ninja Demo

I went to a ramen house with a bunch of Japanese coworkers today, and I came upon a bill for a ninjutsu dojo. On it, was an ominous picture of a katana wrapped in black silk.

After visiting their website, I found out that their sensei, John Hasznosi, has a 5th degree black belt in the deadly art of Bujinkan Ninjutsu. Curious, I did some Google Fu, and discovered this awesome demo video:

WARNING: This video contains absolutely no choreography :ninjadanc

Hellcrap, once again, some ninjers are going to get someone killed. Craptacular pistol disarms start at 4:20.

Oh Jesus. 2:01. The knife to the throat. I think he thinks you can just hold the knife between one of your chins and...another one of your chins.
It seems to me that the Sanjuriu Martial Art is not in guestion, but, rather the character of Mr. Galt.

You're just jealous that you don't have prehensile chins.

    oh my

Jesus. I used to *do* Bujinkan and that's bad, bad, bad.

There is zero understanding of distance, balance, or alignment demonstrated in that.

Even if you believe (and for me, I do) that the lack of pressure/alive training limits ones ability to use Bujinkan techniques in a fight, the teacher ought to be able to make it work at the speed they are doing it, you know? My teacher at least left zero holes in what he was doing, at the speed we were doing it. I still believe he'd be a pretty damned good scrapper, too - but I wasn't capable of making the leap from quarter speed to live myself so I went looking for training to help me do that... This instructor looks like a collection of gaps and holes strung together into a continuous fail kata :sad3:

What do you expect from people filming in a bus station? What was with the wall of lockers in the background?
