    Some time ago we had chuckles over at the "Advanced ninjutsu lols" thread over some training videos and pictures of Lost Legacy Mixed Martial Arts(http://www.lostlegacysystems.com/Home.htm). The soke of their system is one Jean-Francois Le Grand, who has a pretty impressing resume.

    Quoting: Black Belts in Karate-Do, Tae Kwon Do, Kodokan Judo, Full Contact Fighting, Gun & Knife Defense/Use, IOMASDA Ryu/Tetsu Tako Do, Ju-Jutsu/Jiu-Jitsu, Ninjutsu/Ninjitsu, Shaolin Kung-Fu & Ultimate Bujutsu System. End quote.

    Now, I don't know Mr. Le Grand. I've never heard of him, I've never seen him and I've never seen him in action, so as a 4th-kyu jujutsuka I'm nobody to evaluate his skills. I do however have a working e-mail account, and therefore I sent a mail to kodokan, asking about his black belt claim. Here's the reply:



    Fancy that.

    Does anyone know this guy? Could he be worth to make an investigation about?

    His rank is much more likely to have been issued by (one of) the NGBs in the U.S.

    I wonder what his PhD thesis was about...
