So this is great stuff because Omega says so right and not because we're just giving them points for style even though they never come close to making contact with each other?

Clearly I posted before Omega saying quote "I have to give them credit", so Omega is jumping on my bandwagon...

Joking aside, this is a classic case of something that takes a lot of skill and practice to do, but would not be especially effective for real fighting. The key thing is what the makers of the video claim. If they followed those sparring matches talking about how deadly they were, too deadly for UFC ect. they would be torn apart in the usual style.

However, as far as I can see they make no such claims. They just label as no-pad no-contact sparring, specifically using kung fu styles. Read some comments.

Unpadded is more about blocks reaction time and making it look good unrehearsed. Like improvised kung fu fight scenes.

So they had different goals that they accomplished. It's simply inappropriate to judge these videos like real sparring. Now we that this silly confusion is solved we can move and quit the the bitching.

As ff said, they don't say it is fo realz fighting.


Stuntman or Fight Choreographer. Yes, what he was doing fits that criteria perfectly. As to the whining, I would have taken the OP to task w/wo Omega.

When I first joined he defended a Booj video. Since then I look at what the video represents. Now, if the op said check out our fighting, this is how kungfu is supposed to fight I would be laughing.
