    MY GI RIPPED

it's time to buy a new gi...The Rip has now literally torn my gi entirely in half...aaaah i loved that gi. It takes forever to settle one in.

I know this has probably been asked many times before...but search function gave me jack all. so...anyone know a cheap/discounted place online to buy heavy jujitsu Gi's? reccomendations? should i just get single weave or go for the double? I've heard the heavier the gi the harder it is for people to get gi chokes?

All those funky Vitamins & Minerals patches do serve a purpose you know....as patches for the tears.

If you are getting a new one, I recommend the Mkimonos Hybrid Weave. It's not as abrasive as normal gold weave, and lighter than double. Also, they have the Judo pattern with the skirt / diamonds etc, so if you don't cover it in patches you can use it for Judo.

    If you do Judo.

*Was hoping JKD Chick was the topic creator, and that the story was far more graphic in said instance*
