look around, lots of people use the "chun" excuse. "hey, I sucked while doing Wing Chun and now after taking an AWSOME style everyone can fight well in I am amature at best!" :psyduck:
So if a lot of people use the "chun" excuse, then that may lead to one of two logical conclusions: either 1) the chun attracts people with little to no athletic ability (totally plausible), or 2) the chun doesn't turn out (m)any good fighters (name one).

DTT? I herd that he once beat someone from an internet forum... :toothy3:

Na, but seriously - I seem to remember DTT saying on here that Boztepe had trained up some guys who were doing well in MMA in Turkey. Forget the names now.

And none of that has anything to do with you really.

If there was any notable Wing Chun fighter would you go back to Wing Chun? It does not matter because you would still have the problem of not knowing what is good and bad as far as techniques are concerned. Also, you are not smart enough to know when and how to apply techniques nor does it seem like you has the inclination to ask your teachers how to get a clue.

    1. A system of fighting just gives you tools it does not fight for you.
    2. If the environment in which you practice the use of these "tools" is very different from an actual fighting environment the "tools" you are using will not be helpful as you have not used them under stress so they will go out the door>

You can have a crappy boxing coach and become a decent boxer because "sport" environments give the opportunity for semi-clever people to figure out how to survive and possibly win fights.

In "traditional" environments what you are learning is more complex and often counterintuitive. You need a lot more communication with your teacher to understand how to go about using what is being taught. It is apparent that you donít have enough conversations with your teacher to understand very basic ideas about techniques and their applications.

You said you did Sanda along with Wing Chun and 3 years of this you did not notice one seems so different than the other and never bothered to ask why?

Seriously we can all say Wing Chun is an unproven method as far as we can see it today. To argue otherwise is fruitless.

To say "I sucked because of Wing Chun" is being dishonest with yourself. You can blame your teacher, youtube, your parents but you are still the most important variable. Even though there are many bad Wing Chun schools its still no excuse. In Wing Chun you are taught the principles and if the actions dont match what you recite then you are clearly in the wrong.

So you are saying that the ONLY real reason that all of these WC people suck balls is that THEY suck balls? So WC is only attractive to people who are already predisposed to sucking?

    LOL!

My belt is so faded due to the constant stream of tears falling from my face onto it.
