How did you manage to do that to your feet doing Muay Thai? Bruise a shin? Ya sure. Get your ass kicked? Of course. But how in the hell do you do that to the bottom of your feet? I run barefoot on pavement for miles and don't get that kind of damage. What the hell were you doing?

Dragon that's common enough thing to happen, the friction form doing fast kicks say 4 in a row for example, staying on your toes etc, my feet are fucked at the moment, your feet will get used to it, but it will still happen occasionally, but it won't really bother you when they toughen up.

    Mats! ***** LOL

My MT gym it's fucking carpet on the floor ffs!

When I trained Kuk Sool Won we had carpeted floors. I tore the skin where my big toe joins my foot. I thought I broke my toe at first. Carpet sucks.

Well now carpet with muay thai barefoot makes a bit more sense. Some shoes might be in order. I was under the assumption this was on mats.

Well. We kind of were on mats.
The school also holds BJJ at the same place. They roll/grapple where we practice.

From my experience, leave it alone... I'd grow callouses by itself.

You won't have a problem then, if you keep treating it, it'd stay silky soft and smooth forever.

Downside, the sole of your feet will look ugly as long as you train :X

Glad to see Kru Carlo's working you well enough. The makati gym actually has smoother mats, dude, you should try it at the wackwack gym. Your skin will toughen up.

BTW if you're free on saturdays, it's MMA at wack wack. Peace!
