    Should probably introduce myself...

Hi, names Jacob - from the UK

I'm currently a yellow belt in Judo...and I'm looking around for a striking art to complement it, and thought that this site might provide some guidance...

dunno what else people want to hear...but hi!

    Welcome to the site JJ.

I googled "SOLIHULL Martial Arts" and found the results shown.
How far are you willing to travel?
Where do you train your Judo and what other arts are available at the dojo, if any?

If you give a little more info, it would probably help.

I practise Judo at a sports/fitness centre - not a dedicated dojo building...

The sports centre offers a few different things, but very little in the way of martial arts last time I looked.

My fiancee is a purple belt in Shotokan Karate - but I've given it a go, and I prefer something without a 'points-sparring' system and the endless Kata I think...

Travelwise? I'm not sure - a few miles?

Is this within your travel range?
Lots of decent looking training to be had right there.

As far as TMA goes if you have a decent sensei who allows free sparring Shotokan can be a very effective striking art. Especially if you dont have any other options.

It appears to be a sad thing that I'm so bad at looking for things on the internet :-(

But on the other hand, they shall be looked into - thankyou most kindly!
