    I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

    How does that make me stupid and ignorant? My intent isn't to don a vigilante costume and go about hacking bamboo branches or body parts. I'm asking simply out of curiosity in that if I wanted it sharpened what I'd have to buy/do.

    Do you know why it came to be in your possession not sharpened?

    Do you know anything about the sword you were gifted?

    Why do you want it sharp to begin with?

    * edit *

    I am assuming you know nothing because people who are aware of these things don't ask questions like how can I sharpen my dull sword (lol and not get arrested !@!!11!1! )

    If you do have basic knowledge then you are trolling and should be treated the way you are acting, as if you are ignorant and are to stupid to breath.

    It's to impress the chicks. Didn't you guys see The Bodyguard with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston? How are you supposed to drop the silk over the sword and cut it, if it ain't sharp?

    Actually I knew that. Not from experience unfortunately, but a TV show. I don't know, but it was a Mythbusters type of show, or maybe it was them; that asked that question about if that could actually happen, and it was an epic fail. I wish I could remember the program.

    That **** only works for Kevin Costner man. Who else can get away with playing Robin Hood with no British accent? Oh, did I just say he got away with it? I didn't really say that. Really.
