    i have a question:

    is a fighter penalised for holding down the opponent in a judo type hold? I only ask as i tend to find that people do stupid stuff like stick their arms out if you get them in a good hold and make them feel constricted

    no, like judo you can hold down and work for a submission. but we arn,t allowing the hold down to develope into a rest period, so you'll get about 10 seconds. MUTT has the final rules now so he can fill you in on the fier points, and send you a copy i guess.
