If you are in Manila look up GM Yuli Romo and take a couple sessions with him. He is a great instructor and has a treasure trove of information about FMA history and combat. He can answer this question and your inquiry as to the history of Kali and stick to stick training.

That's great, though it does nothing to answer Gulogod's question

As for who uses the term Pensa-Pensiba, it is really just a spanish term describing act-conuter-react, or question/answer. GM Yuli uses it to describe the way Tatang Ilustrisimo originally taught him and GM Tony (when they essentially were the only two training with him), I've heard Prof Jocano used it to describe the way Mang Ben would really teach once you graduated past basic training (e.g. the modern stuff), but those would be the only two places I've specifically heard that training called by that specific term. Though, the whole question answer method of training is very common amongst old timers, you hear that from Sifu Dan's descriptions of Manong Lacostes training, the way early Balintawak was trained under GM Anciong Bacon before groupings and palakaw, can keep going on here, but I figure Ive already said my piece, and alot of it is better documented in The Bladed Hand anywways.

Sharing another one from this guy. Is what he's saying accurate? Most videos I see here on youtube on FMA footwork, do it differently. This guy is pretty popular on youtube, and I'm confused since people all seem to agree with him on the comments section. Since the Kali guys here seem to honestly speak their mind and not tptoe around not wishing to hurt sumbody's feelings at the cost of other people being misinformed, I'd like to know what the Kali guys here think.
