Sounds like Mala Vidyea is Harinder Singh's own method, presumably based on traditional Indian exercises. For more on that topic, seeAction Strength – Martial Arts Strength & Conditioning. Well, it's described as Singh's "own Indian art" and the term Mala Vidyea doesn't seem to show up in historical records of Indian physical culture, so my best guess is that it's his own thing, based on traditional exercises.
