Straight from a man inside M-1, Fedor is highly unmotivated, spends more time in church than he does training, and passed on a normal training camp for this fight in order to just run on some beach front property they rented for him in California. I still think he will beat Werdum, but it's not going to be impressive.

Being a huge Cung Le fan, I believe he can pull it off. I just hope that he has been in good training in preparation for this fight.

As for Cris Cyborg? I predict the match will start. She'll bitch slap the other fighter, toss her down, flip her over, pull her shorts down and proceed to mount her whilst yelling "SQUEAL LIKE A PIG!"

    Or maybe I'm just fantasizing......

I'm anticipating this fight, but I'm also preparing myself for the crushing disappointment that will probably occur.

A voice in my head says that media contacts (like Lampa) were given that information to instill the notion of Fedor being in weaker shape than usual. Which implies that the opposition has more chance, thus making the fight more interesting.

Then again, I also wear an aluminium hat.

if he is in fact unmotivated, it might be because he's never had a real loss.

in any case, he doesn't reveal anything in this interview.

    YouTube- Exclusive Fedor Emelianenko Interview

i'm picking werdum to win. he really shouldn't, but i have a gut feeling. hope i'm wrong.

I wouldn't put my money on Werdum, but I don't think I ever count him out of a fight. I've been a fan of his since the Pride OWGP. The dude has only been finished once in his whole career, and that was by way of the monsterous power of Junior Dos Santos.

He's got arguably one of the best ground games at heavy weight, his stand-up isn't fight finishing, but he's showed marked improvement especially in the clinch ever since his Arlovski fight, and he has beaten some stiff competition. I still don't understand why they UFC cut him.

I also have a gut feeling Fedor will lose. Also, Cung Le by TKO round two or three.
