*Spoilers* Strikeforce: Fedor vs Fabricio Cung Le, Cuddles - June 26, 2010
Strikeforce: Fedor Emelianenko vs Fabricio Werdum
Sat. June 26, 2010
San Jose, California
After months of anticipation, the world's No. 1 heavyweight and pound-for-pound Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, Fedor "The Last Emperor" Emelianenko (31-1), will make his eagerly awaited return to the cage to face two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion and top-ranked superstar Fabricio "Vai Cavalo" Werdum (13-4) in a STRIKEFORCE and M-1 GLOBAL co-promoted event at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. on Saturday, June 26, live on SHOWTIMEŽ at 10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast).
Fedor Emelianenko vs Fabricio Werdum
Jan Finney vs. Cristiane 'Cyborg' Santos
Scott Smith vs. Cung Le
Josh Thomson vs. Pat Healy
Magomed Shikshabekov vs. Ron Keslar
Also san shou superstar Cung Le rematches Scott 'Hands of Steel' Smith, who handed Le's first loss in mixed martial arts competition in December 2009. Winner of four in a row Jan 'Cuddles' Finney fights Brazilian title holder Cristiane 'Cyborg' Santos for the women's 145 belt.
Fedor dominates Werdum for a TKO stoppage late.
Cung plays it safe and cautious and wins a boring, unconvincing split decision.
Cyborg shoves Finney over, sits on her chest and slaps her in the face until the mercy stoppage in Rd. 1.
I don't care about the other two.
really, the only HW fight in strikeforce anyone cares about is fedor vs overroids which is never gonna happen anyway.
**** Fedor, "most anticipated" my fat ass, i couldnt give a **** what that guy does anymore. talk about resting on laurels.if hes supposed to be the best p4p fighter in the world maybe he should try fighting more than once a year against people who might beat him?
Yeah, because brutally demolishing former UFC champions in the first round is just so lame.
Former being the operative term, he needs to fight guys who are on the top right now, not guys who were on top then got beat.

Once again, "You are only a top ten fighter until Fedor beats you. Then you've always been overrated."
It would be pretty awesome if Werdum actually managed to beat Fedor. Upset of the century!
Everybody gets a bump in the rankings as soon as they sign the contract to fight Fedor.
There really is some nostalgia involved in him still being ranked #1.
Why does Scott Smith deserve a rematch?
Maybe he pissed in Coker's wheaties or something.
