No, you should start feeling old when they start remaking the "Police Academy" movies.

Do you realize that if they remade "Back to the Future" they would go back to the 80's?

    not really.
because they also went from the future that was the future of 'back to the future' to the 'real future' (as how they perceived it it would be in the 80ies) in ack to the future 2.
so if they remade that one, well, we really would be where we are...RIGHT NOW.
except for the flying cars ofcourse.

    does that make sense?

I can see why he upholds his belief in the vertical punching mechanism

not rotating the arm minimizes energy loss but also sacrifices reach. however, i believe the rotation method is superior because it compliments the dogma striking using the force of the body. I can't see how vertical "ram" fisting can compete with the power of a full body backed rotated punch. One could back a vertical fist strike with the force of the body, but that would leave one in an awkward and open stance.

maybe if you want to go for a **** it i lost hail mary goatfist punch....sure

Actually, the position of the radial and ulna in a rotated punch creates a stronger structure than in a vertical punch. I don't see where you would lose power from the rotating manuever, please explain how you believe this would occur.
