    You didn't even ask WHY they aren't compatible and the reason is not that you understand what my comment meant .

    That is why I find you to be such a shitty poster or a dedicated but half-assed troll.

    Actually I did ask, twice.

    Boxing would conflict with my TKD? How so?
    Really? Granted technique wise there will no doubt be differences but how would it set me back?

    then why respond with

    Your a badass TKD guy who defends your spot in line with violence and other such high school bullshit. You should be able to figure out :
    a. why I would assume you do not want to know the real answers
    b. why you would ignore any actual good advise and continue on with your fantasy world .
    c. why you did overlook the most important advise on the topic

    * hint *
    We focused on punches a lot tonight in class. Whilst doing all the drills I realized I want my punches to become a lot stronger, especially when I spar.
    When it comes to this subject I hear different things. Some say strengthening the forearm. Some people say doing knuckle push ups and others says striking a hard object repeatedly. Any thoughts?
    technique is not mentioned which means you are not even asking the right people or you have already ignored the advise

    Both would be cool. Again it's not so much that my punches suck or that I'm doing incorrect technique. If that were the issue I would have stated so in my beginning post with something of "I can't punch worth **** please help a brother out."

    They're strong, I just want them stronger.

    Well since you probably wont go to a boxing gym for a while. Use what you probably learned in TKD, at least I hope. When you stand in a line and punch I hope you were thought to rotate your first then follow through with the punch. Also to snap your punch at the end and not to push with your hands. Its the same concept that was stated before of rooting your punch in your feet through your hips and out the arm.

    Use a heavy back that has a canvice style cover and dont use gloves in the begining. This way you will learn to punch stright into your target instead of letting your hands slide off of it. When you punch try to push of your foot, rotate your hip into it and place your shoulder behing your punch.

    Basically the concept of putting your whole body behind it. You will not know if your punches are hard with out a heavy bag.

    If you want to learn more outside of what I said get propper training. Cross trining is always good even if its with in your own style.
