    Developing punching power

We focused on punches a lot tonight in class. Whilst doing all the drills I realized I want my punches to become a lot stronger, especially when I spar.

When it comes to this subject I hear different things. Some say strengthening the forearm. Some people say doing knuckle push ups and others says striking a hard object repeatedly. Any thoughts?

In your case, the best thing to do would be to repeatedly punch yourself in the jaw as the resulting brain trauma might have you putting your thread in the relevant forum.

    Basic Technique forum?

I think that a lot of it is on the hips, kinetic linking and a heavy hand. I would also suggest the search function
